January 25 - 29 Basketball Game Schedule


Monday 1-25-10



  • 5th and 6th grade girls vs. Bloomfield at Linton Elementary

The Linton Red 5th grade girls basketball team lost to Bloomfield 30-27, which evens their record at 1-1. Scorers were:

Taylor Thuis - 13
Jorden Walters - 8
Brooklyn Smith - 4
Dru Moronez - 2

The Linton 6th grade girls basketball team lost to Bloomfield 25-12 to put their record at 2-1. Scorers were:

Shelsea Muerer - 5
Carli Williams - 1
Emma Brewer - 2
Jackie Nash - 4

Tuesday 1 -26-10



  • 5th and 6th grade Boys Blue at North Daviess

The Linton 5th grade boys basketball team beat North Daviess 28 to 20 improving there record to 6-0. the Miners were led in scoring by Trey Passen with 9 points and 1 rebound. Tyler Meurer had 8 points and led the team in rebounds with 4. Austin Allen had 6 points with 1 rebound and Kendall Williams had 5 points and 3 rebounds. Cody Corbin and Luke Wilson pulled down 3 rebounds each while Justin Rippy had 1 rebound.

Linton Boys 6th grade won at North Daviess 15 to 20 on Tuesday night. They were paced in scoring by Mitchell Eberhardt (8 points), Pierce Jackson (7 points), Damian Turpin and Kalen Lawson (2 points each) and Braxton Lannan (1 points). The Miners will be back in action at Bloomfield Wednesday night.

Wednesday 1-27-10



  • 5th and 6th grade Boys Blue at Bloomfield


Linton Boys 6th grade won at Bloomfield in Overtime 34 to 33 on Wednesday night. They were paced in scoring by Mitchell Eberhardt (12 points), Nick Wisniewski (7 points), Pierce Jackson (6 points), Jacob Clothier (4 points), Janzen Franklin and Jacob Gregory (2 points each) and Zack Phegley (1 points). The Miners will be back in action at home against Farmersburg Thursday night.

Thursday 1-28-10



  • 5th and 6th grade Girls White at Dugger

  • The Linton White 5th grade girls basketball team defeated Dugger 31-4 , which evens their record at 1-1. Scorers were:

    Hannah Bradbury-4
    Whitney Carpenter-4
    Kaylee Wiseman-2
    Maddie Bridges-5

    The Linton 6th grade girls basketball team defeated Dugger 30-12 to put their record at 3-1. Scorers were:

    Shelsea Muerer - 10
    Carli Williams - 6
    Emma Brewer - 4
    Jackie Nash - 2
    Averee Dunn - 4
    Allie Foglesong - 4
  • 5th and 6th grade Boys White vs. Farmersburg at Linton Elementary

The Linton 5th grade boys basketball team improved there record to 7-1 by beating Farmersburg 48 to 22. The Miners were lead in scoring by Tyler Meurer with 13 points and had 4 rebounds while Austin Allen had 8 points and 2 rebounds. Kendall Williams led the team in rebounds with 10 and had 6 points. Justin Rippy had 6 points and 1 rebound while Josh Dieball had 6 points and 3 rebounds. Avery Gentry had 4 points and 4 rebounds while Gavin Blanton had 2 points and 2 rebounds. Thaniel Heath also had 2 points and pulled down 1 rebound. Trey Passen had 1 point and grabbed 3 rebounds. Jaden Holt and Luke Wilson each had 1 rebound.

All 5th grade games begin at 6:00. Good Luck Mini-Miners.



Linton Boys 6th grade won at home against Farmersburg 34 to 44 on Thursday night. They were paced in scoring by Nick Wisniewski (10 points), Pierce Jackson and Joe Diball (7 points each), Kalen Lawson (6 points), Devin Collenbaugh and Andrew Woods (4 points each), Janzen Franklin, Jacob Gregory and Agustin Covarrubias (2 points each). The Miners will be back in action at WRV-Lyons Monday night.
